Eastend/Great Sand Hills
Come join me for a weekend of adventure ..... off-roading, back-roading, and plain ole exploring some of Saskatchewan's most unique and beautiful landscape. We will depart at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, June 3rd from the Lowe's parking lot, west side, on Lewvan Avenue. Our first destination, allowing for a distraction or two along the way, will be Shaunavon where we will enjoy lunch, their world famous burger, at the award winning Harvest Eatery. After enjoying this mouth watering meal, we will continue to Eastend. Our accommodations for Friday and Saturday nightwill be at the Riverside Motel where Ed and his crew will take very good care of us, plus keep us fed and watered! While in Eastend, we will visit the T-Rex centre and enjoy time with some potters.
On Saturday, we will "take to the hills" for some jaw dropping scenery, hiking, and history. On the agenda for this day: exploring, history, music, a picnic, fun, and lots of laughs. Bring your rain / snow / hot weather gear as we will be out and about no matter what the weather sends our way.

After one of Ed's hearty breakfasts, we will hit the road early Sunday morning as we have a lot of ground (pun intended) to cover before we return to Regina late that night. Our travels on Sunday will take us through the Sand Hills, to the museum at Sceptre, to the Blumenthal Church with stops along the way to visit whatever attracts our eyes. As if that isn't enough, I know the highlight of the day will be a visit to the Sagebrush Galleries and Art Studio which just happens to be hosting their annual open house that weekend!

If the weather is good, we will spend as long as we possibly can exploring on Sunday so don't plan to be back in Regina much before 10:30-11 p.m. We don't want to miss a thing!
